He could still flop back on that and say, "killing angels and demons I'm okay with. Now that I know that, I'm aligned with the village, and we really need you to kill some mafia or we are fucked." I dunno, I'm bad at this, but it might work. Errr, saying "psyche! I was lying!" probably isn't the hottest idea when we are trying to fish for information and build some sort of trust. I'd just say it's not a dealbreaker if he wants to kill Angels or Demons, since to tell the truth you are fine with it.

What are you talking about? I hinted that I want to hit angels or demons since it seemed like WH did too. Also if i can set him chasing them, then he's not hitting us.

Corvidae made several dialogs about haunting folks should he die. That could be something.

Wandering Hero 4:20PM Since you can still speak with the village, I'd rather not. I'd hope as much as I have said should be enough that we can work together with. I can say I am aligned against the village and the mafia both. I can't let either of them win before I do.
Man, so there are two other neutral factions? Mr. Defecation said that angels were aligned against me but that doesn't make sense because I have no idea about demons. Killing demons and angels is not a dealbreaker, though, I'd rather test and kill a demon first. What happens after that would determine much.
Again, my biggest goal now is to find alive people whose win condition changes after they die. That, really, is the most important information to me. I've been led to believe it is hinted at in their role. romanqwerty 6:05PM Ok i understand is there anyway i can prove my opposition to the village? Unfortunately I can't hand you any specials as i promised my contact that i wouldn't hand his name off in exchange for his information.
I very much doubt that angels are directly aligned against you but either way, i'd love to see Mr D die tonight or Rend.
I'll do my best to find out about changing WCs.

My first thoughts for targets are that we should kill one or two people that rend left off his list, and roleblock one of the people on his list to go looking for the axe man.
It'd be nice to hit the seer, and see if we can try to fish out Mr. D's mason partner so we avoid them if it looks like they are legit.

Not a bad idea. Keep me posted as to who you'd like roleblocked. I'm going to work in a couple hours and will be mostly distracted til near vote close.

You should put in a default order now, just in case. I don't have any bright ideas, so I'd say pick someone likely to be a seer or serial killer.

Haha easier said than done. Gonna roleblock stever since he's been acting a little off this game.

I would like to re-remind you guys that rend is very good at this game. I don't know exactly how a mafia list interacts with his "never lie" thing but I am positive he took into account that we would look at his list and try to reverse-engineer who he's in contact with.

We don't know enough about Rend's status in the game to draw many conclusions. Is he village-aligned? Neutral? A third/fourth faction? Is he in the network? Was he in contact with Jason Todd but not in the network?
It's a mystery! This is why I'm in favor of killing Rend. We've spent the entire game wondering what he's up to, and finding out what faction he belongs to will help us answer that question.

I do like how absolutely terrible all the vote targets are today though.
It is pretty great.

I do like how absolutely terrible all the vote targets are today though have been throughout the game. It is pretty great. Fixed that for you. The village hasn't even come close to voting one of us out. Kingmole is going to be so happy when I die or we win.

I'm reading this and... what if Rend is a survival neutral and trying to get this game over quickly?
I mean, he made a stupedously bad list and made sure multiple times to draw our attention to it, then gave us a bandwagon against a villager to hide in while claiming "to prevent shenanigans, all true patriots must vote for this". It is too perfect, and maybe that is because instead of a trap, it is a beautiful gambit.
Sure, it is early in the day and they are likely fishing for answers, but this does seem like a possibility to me.
Thus ends my paranoid rambling for today.
